Book Review - 1st Job and 10 Mistakes

1st Job and 10 Mistakes by Uttam Kumar

1st job and 10 Mistakes by Uttam Kumar is a guide cumbria workbook in terms of money management and career planning.
It thoroughly and patiently guides even a newbie about 'to do' and 'not to do' list while entering the carrier phase;in financial as well as career aspects.

Uttam Kumar has rightly explained the working behind credit. People tend to forget that "Credit is a liability, not luxury" as they mistakenly believe it to be.

As the author has pointed out,our generation doesn't give much thought to future aspects and probabilities. We are a generation who has learned to spend without thinking further. Although if you would have observed habits of your parents, you will find these financial management traits instilled deeply in them.

I loves this book more as savings habits come naturally to me and thus book feels much closer to my thoughts.
Worksheets and proformas provided in the book will help a person to get better understanding of financial solutions and career growth.

I personally believe in the fact that loans are for emergency purposes and once taken, should be adhered with strict discipline.

Author has particularly emphasised on decisions about first job and how crucial are initial years in deciding your career fate which will help clearing doubts of people who are going to transit from student phase to career phase.

This book is undoubtedly result of author's experiences and observations which will certainly help youngsters to get a clear mind about sorting out the career priorities and taking decisions for their betterment.

Stupendous, brilliant and engaging - defining greater purpose of life
I am glad that I have read this book.
This is not just one of that motivational book which tells you what you already know. The Seeker tells you about realms beyond our general thinking. It stirs your thoughts, forces you to ponder and makes you a part of the journey.
Book pleasantly brought back to me; ideology embedded in a upnishad katha which I had read in childhood.
Ideology of Advaita vision -
"Aham Brahmasmi, Tvam brahmasmi, sarvam brahmasmi ".
What I couldn't understand at that tender age. THE SEEKER beautifully explained to me.
Presenting all the spiritual aspects and finding purpose of life with such a mindblowing story which never gets dull and keep readers focused, attentive and curious is such a tremendous job.
One can only guess the amount of research and hardwork invested in it.
From Max to Mahadeva - journey will surely bring some transformation into readers too,may be unrecognisable, but then you know - Even a grain of sand brings a wave in ocean....sooner or later.

P.S. - I have received a free copy of this book in exchange of my honest review.
